Scorpion is a prominent character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise.
First appearing in the original Mortal Kombat (1992), Scorpion is known for his signature yellow ninja attire and his iconic spear attack, which he uses to pull opponents towards him while yelling "Get over here!".
He is a resurrected ninja, or spectre, driven by a desire for revenge against Sub-Zero, who he believes was responsible for the death of his clan and family. However, the truth surrounding the events is far more complicated, involving the sorcerer Quan Chi.
